ABOUT US TMC was created to take advantage of the World Wide Web, which was beginning to really take off with the availability of the Mosaic web browser in 1993 and later the Netscape Navigator in 1994. The site was developed and initially hosted on the graduate assistant's Linux box at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where Andrew was completing post-graduate work in the Mathematics and Computer-Science program and teaching college Algebra. Shortly after the website was launched it was believed lost due to a fatal hard drive crash. Several months after the site went down a copy of the html source was discovered in a Netscape cache on one of the University's computers.
